Pea-sized seeds edible cooked — sweet, likened to sweet chestnut or macadamia; a genuine Chinese edible-oil crop. Young leaves and flowers also cooked. Edible seeds & flowers; ⚠ seed oil contains erucic acid (~9%) — consume in moderation.
