Not a fruit crop — an aromatic shrub whose leaves make a herbal tea; it bears a small bur-like nutlet, not a fleshy edible fruit. Leaves for tea; nitrogen-fixing. Distinct from the related Myrica/Morella (yangmei), which has the edible fruit.
